Questions instead of answers.

One of the most important premises in continuous improvement is this…

Have questions not answers.

Our work around improvement…whether it be professional reading, collaborative team discussions, data analysis, or personal reflection should be founded in a question. Education is a very personal profession. The vast majority of teachers and leaders put their heart and soul into growing children. Because our jobs are so personal, we all have inherent bias in our interpretation of what we read, analyze, or discuss. Beginning with a question, rather than an answer, can help overcome this bias. After all, if we have the answer, are we really seeking to improve?
