The Power of Questions in Continuous Improvement

One of the most important premises in continuous improvement is this:

Have questions not answers.

A question can drive our professional reading, collaborative team discussions, data analysis, and personal reflection. Education is a very personal profession. Most teachers and leaders put their heart and soul into growing children. We all have inherent biases in our interpretation of what we read, analyze, or discuss. Beginning with a question rather than an answer can help overcome this bias. After all, if we have the answer, are we seeking to improve?

Question.
